Arrive in Kuala Lumpur (KL) from Nairobi. Take a taxi or pre-arranged hotel transport to the Hilton Garden Inn (check-in, refresh, relax). Evening dinner at the hotel restaurant or local Malaysian cuisine nearby such as Jalan Alor or Bukit Bintang, then relax.

Breakfast at the hotel, then a half-day city tour: KL Tower (Menara KL) observation deck with a 360-degree view, Petronas Twin Towers (optional Skybridge, subject to availability), Merdeka Square and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Lunch of a local favourite, then the Central Market, Chinatown (Petaling Street) or Bukit Bintang for shopping and street food. Dinner at a rooftop restaurant such as SkyBar.

After breakfast, travel by private car/tourist coach to Genting Highlands (approximately 1-1.5 hours from KL). Ride the Genting Skyway cable car up to the resort. Activities include the Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, Chin Swee Caves Temple, shopping and dining, and Malaysia's only legal casino. Return to Kuala Lumpur in the late afternoon for dinner.

After breakfast, head to Batu Caves, limestone caves with Hindu temples inside, where 272 steps lead up to the main temple and the golden statue of Lord Murugan. Lunch is Indian-style food nearby. In the afternoon visit the Islamic Arts Museum, the National Mosque (Masjid Negara) and the Lake Gardens. Dinner at the Jalan Alor Night Market.

Relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Depending on flight time, visit a nearby attraction such as KL Bird Park (the largest free-flight aviary in the world) or do last-minute shopping. Check out and take a taxi or shuttle to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for the return flight to Nairobi.
