Continue to Nyungwe National Park.

Very early breakfast or packed breakfast.
Transfer to the designated chimpanzee trekking starting point.
Briefing by park guides.
Begin your trek through the rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees.
Enjoy the forest's primates, birds and vegetation along the trail.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon relaxation.
Chimpanzee sightings are not guaranteed because the animals move freely through the forest.
Dinner & overnight: Nyungwe.

Head to the Igishigishigi Trail for the guided canopy walkway experience.
Walk high above the rainforest and enjoy panoramic views across the forest and surrounding hills.
The official Visit Rwanda information describes the walkway as about 160 metres long and 70 metres above the forest floor.
Lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon option: forest hike, birdwatching or waterfall trail.
Relax and enjoy your final evening in the rainforest.
Dinner & overnight: Nyungwe.
